CATCH ME (2015)

Documentory dance performance “CATCH ME” is about the courage of six parents to face the challenge of learning the movements and motion of their children. By repeating the situations made by their kids they worked on their physical endurance and precision at the same time beating their inner fears and struggles.

“CATCH ME” is a deed which asked several months of work and the observance of behavior of children. Kids were given the room for free flow of movement and their actions have been documented in video. The obtained video materials acted as a basis for the creation of the choreography.

Pieces has been nominated for the annual Latvian Theatre Prize "Spēlmaņu nakts 2014/2015" as a "Contemporary dance achievement of the year".
