The evening starts with a video installation at the centre 'Koka Rīga' and then takes the viewers for a walk through the streets of Grīziņkalns. The walk ends in one of the neighbourhood's fascinating courtyards.
The members of Japanese collective contact Gonzo employ special tactics in their work that comprise visual and very direct bodily experience of the surroundings. In Riga they were working together with a group of Latvian dance artists, using and adapting existing structures outdoors and indoors and moving through the neighbourhood of former worker's district of Grīziņkalns.
